When I’m not translating your solar energy texts for the French market, I love spending time in nature, and I’ve always been a big fan of outdoor sports like paragliding, mountaineering, climbing, hiking and biking. In fact, shortly before I set up my translation business, I spent 13 months on a once-in-a-lifetime journey, cycling through South America. Admittedly, outdoor adventures aren’t quite as easy now I’ve got a family, but you’re never too young – or too old! – to spend time in nature.

The best thing about being the solar energy translator is the satisfaction I get from knowing my French translations are helping to create a cleaner future. I also love being able to gain more insights into the industry every day – after all, like any good engineer, I’m fascinated by the latest technological developments. That’s why I attend industry events like Energies pour l’industrie and MIX.E to chat with professionals, talk about trends in the sector and make sure I’m as up to date as possible.
